Kolibri

Kolibri (alkoliber.com) is a price comparison site for Albania, built by Orgen Gjoni in 2026. It compares the price of the same product across 12 Albanian retailers, in lekë, for brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Dyson, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

What it does

• Every product page lists each seller’s price for every variant, the saving against the most expensive seller, and the price history.
• Prices are only compared within the same variant (model, storage tier, region), so a 128 GB phone is never matched against a 256 GB one.
• The home page highlights the biggest price gaps between sellers, and every page shows when its prices were read.
• The site is in Albanian, the language of the people searching for these prices.

How it's built

• Python crawlers read each retailer’s listings; a matching step groups them into products and variants.
• The site is a static Next.js export built from crawl snapshots: nothing is scraped when a page is requested.
• A refresh refuses to publish if priced offers drop by more than 30%, so a broken crawler can’t empty the site.
• Each page ships its own title, description, Open Graph image and JSON-LD.
